He was the best dad, a great brother, uncle, son, cousin, nephew and grandpa, but most of all he was an Awesome Friend to have. We could go on for days about Lynn but if you knew him then you already have an idea about the kind of man he was and the character he had. Lynn would always try to make sure to call you on your birthday! He tried to get his family together for Christmas dinner with all of his extended family. Recently he even helped a friend by watching her son named Noah, everyone knew him as Lynn’s little buddy. ![]() He never missed anything they were involved in. Lynn was very proud of his kids especially Love like Lynn Didhis daughter Sariah that followed in his footsteps by serving in the Army, his son-in-law Jason and his grandkids. Many people comment on how he was always so caring and helpful, you know he would give you the shirt off his back at any given time. Lynn always cared about his family, country and God. He enjoyed working on his yard, being the best dad and grandpa, hanging out BBQing with Kenny, his best friend, He really liked his job and rarely missed work and he LOVED the Utah JAZZ. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on December 25, 1918, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Winifred (Bennett). After they separated the second time he never remarried. They added to their family with their son Robert in 1978 and daughter Sariah in 1979. He became an instant dad because of Dori's daughter Crystal Lynn Harris born in December of 1976. He Loved his job at Carrier Transport as the lead AFS tech.Īfter returning home from active duty in 1976, he married Dori Harris in April of 1977. Later in life He worked tirelessly as an appliance repair man. Lynn planned to retire from Carrier in January so it would be 50 years to the day since he had enlisted. Lynn served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. He then went on and Joined the US Army in January of 1973. Lynn graduated from American Fork High School with the class of 1972. Growing up on the farm in Alpine he was a happy young man and always helped with the chores ESPECIALLY when his older sister didn’t want to clean the chickens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families, other extended family members, and many friends, all who cherished him greatly. Lynn is survived by his sisters and 2 brothers: Connielynn Perkins (Kerry Perkins), Jay R Bennett (Kim Bennett), Becky Butler(Reed Butler), and Barry Bennett 3 children: Crystal Worthen (Jason Worthen), Robert Bennett, and Sariah Bennett 3 grandchildren: Tyson, Katie, and Zack Worthen. He is preceded in Death by his parents and 2 younger brothers Neil and Aaron Bennett. Lynn was born on November 6th, 1953 in American Fork, Utah to Ethel Elizabeth Cardwell Bennett and Monte Robert Bennett. He went quickly and peacefully at Ogden Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer her parents brother, Melvin and grandson, Brandon.Lynn Dale Bennett of Slaterville, Utah passed away September 8th, 2021. Some of her past times were crocheting and quilting quilts for High School graduates.ĭella and Elmer enjoyed traveling, especially in the winter to visit friends and family in Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California.ĭella is survived by her children, Roger (Chris) Koski, Sun Lakes, Ariz., Rhonda (Steve) Gackle, Grand Forks, and Richard (Arliss) Koski, Wing grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon) Koski, Bismarck, Maria (Eric) Brown, Sioux Falls, Bennett (Christine) Gackle, Vancouver, MaKayla Koski, Makoti, Lauren Koski, Wing, Jade Koski, Wing, and Trey Koski, Wing two great-granddaughters, Piper Koski and Jane Brown. She was active in the Farmer’s Union Local, Burleigh County Democrats, Wing School Library and Burleigh County Senior Citizens where she delivered meals to homes. The two were blessed with three children, Roger Allan, Rhonda Melvina and Richard Michael.ĭella was an organist for many years at Bethlehem Lutheran Church along with Circle and altar guild. They started their life together on the Koski homestead south of Wing.
